More than 1,000 dissertations have been registered with the DIALOG program since its inception in 1993. The DISCCRS Registry, begun in 2002, contains more than 200 entries. Both Registries are international in scope, with citizens of more than 60 countries participating to date and nearly 50% of PhDs registered outside the U.S. Demographic information is collected with abstracts, and statistical information is reported on a biennial basis.
